My name’s Matthew, but most people call me Moth. I’m a freelance filmmaker and colorist specializing in automotive, documentary, and branded storytelling. I’ve worked with established brands and independent teams alike, working on projects that range from fast-paced social content to long-form films.
My Approach
My passion for filmmaking and color is inspired by the warmth and vibrancy of classic design elements found in vintage cars and motorcycles—craftsmanship, curves, and color. In a sea of modern sharp angles and endless blacks and greys, I’m drawn to a time that took pride in organic shapes and expressive palettes. That influence carries through everything I make, shaping how I approach both filmmaking and color.
